First Day of School

It's happening! Can't believe my luck. Found a ceramics studio down the street from me offering classes that just started. It's perfect. Sad that I couldn't do classes with Claudia, but I'm being realistic about the time commitment I can do for this project. Happy to spend hours in the studio getting lost in the clay but not so much countless hours getting lost on the G train up to Williamsburg. 

And here she is! The first piece I've thrown after being away for 14 years. Not bad, not bad. The good news is that I can only get better from here.

Can't remember the last time I was this excited. Feeling like a kid again. Feeling in awe. Feeling like I've opened up so many possibilities. Forgot how much I loved this and absolutely elated to be back.
