Studio Time

Back at the wheel and it feels so good! Getting used to the clay again, and the new space is so much better than the old space. I'm not locked up in a basement anymore, and there's so much more room. Sunlight. Ceilings are higher. I feel like a new woman.

Look at all this room... and windows! Praise hands.

Threw 4 cylinders today. They're looking great: pretty thin and really regular. The lens has warped them quite a bit in the photo, but I'm happy with the size and form. Will make some great mugs, whenever I work up the courage to tackle handles again. Still sad I lost those pieces from last year, but slowly embracing that it's all part of the process.
