Squeezed in a trimming session before España, and I was able to salvage the mugs. Afraid they were too dry, but I was able to revive them and trim. They'll be fired, so I'm looking forward to glazing them when I get back. Thinking maybe the handles will be better as a different color than the body of the mugs. Navy and white?
Also super happy that the plates came out. Plus, two more bowls in the faceted finish, and I'm really happy with how their shapes turned out.
The glaze even did this cool bright pop of blue along the edge of the bowls. Looks like it might be the result of the edges being thicker, so maybe it held the glaze better? Might be a thicker layer or glaze concentration there, so that'll be something to keep in mind for next time.
